Curtis D. Barnett, 69 of Willard, Ohio was called home to the Lord on September 24, 2026. He was born in Willard, Ohio to the late Arlie and Katie (Conley) Barnett. He was a graduate of Willard High School, served in the U.S. Army, and spent most of his life as a contractor and entrepreneur. Curtis was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, an avid fisherman and outdoorsman, a savvy businessman, and a joy to everyone who knew him.
Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, Arlie and Katie (Conley) Barnett, sisters Luetta (Barnett) Collins, Maxine (Barnett) Cole, Jeweldene (Barnett) Newberry, Irene (Barnett) Heydinger and brother Edwin Barnett.
He is survived by his wife Geneva "Jenny" Barnett, children Brittany Barnett, Brooke (Derrick) Adams, Brandie (Timothy) Johnson,grandchildren Jakob, Mollie, Zoey, Mary-Kate, Joshua, Lucas, Oliver, Harley, Andre, Beatrice, Elijah, Eleanor, Evelyn, and Isaac and siblings Dan (Janet) Barnett, Michael (Hazel) Barnett, Elaine (Roger) Steele and Belinda Barnett.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 30, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio, where the funeral service will be Wednesday at 12:30 PM with Pastor Earl Tackett officiating. Burial will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Chldren's Hospital. Curt was one of the most honest loving caring kind hard working person I have ever met the love he displayed for his grandkids daughters and wife is what real daddy’s and husbands are made of he was a great father in law and always there for advice and direction with never a ounce of judgment I loved the time I got to spend with him 5 years is a small time but a lifetime of love and friendship he will be missed dearly
