Cynthia A. Chapman, age 47, resident of Tiro, Ohio passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2004 in MedCentral Shelby Hospital following a courageous two year battle with cancer. She was born on April 28, 1957 in Bucyrus, Ohio and had been a New Washington – Tiro resident all her life. She was employed with the C.E. White Company in New Washington and enjoyed gardening and canning. Her two grandsons were a very special joy in her life.
She is survived by her fiance’, Mark Cummings of Tiro; one son, Billy Ray Chapman of Tiro; two grandsons, Jessie James and Justin Tyler Chapman; her parents Forrest and Bonnie (Pitzen) Strohm of Tiro; one sister, Tammy Green of Tiro; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, William and Kathy Strohm of Tiro; Robert and Renee Strohm of New Washington; Michael Strohm of Tiro; and other relatives.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in New Washington on Sunday from 2-4 PM where funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM with Pastor Shirley Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in Crawford County Memorial Gardens at a later date. Memorial expressions can be made to the American Cancer Society or to the donor’s choice.
