David Newland, age 59, of Willard, Ohio passed away on Monday, February 8, 2016 at his home. He was born on September 11, 1956 in San Diego. CA to Richard and Donna (Jacobs) Newland. David graduated from Willard High school in 1974 and formerly worked at R.R. Donnelly’s in Willard for 25 years. He was a computer technician for Broken Acres Electronics in Sandusky. He was a member of the Willard Church of God. David was a man devoted to his family and his God and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Barbara (Holbrook) Newland; 3 children, Rachel (Charles) Eberly of Willard, Amy Newland and Lee Fanning of Alexandria, Virginia, Benjamin (Rebecca) Newland of Willard; 6 grandchildren, Hunter Vallier, Brenna Eberly, Kerstyn Eberly, Chase Eberly, Zachary Shaver, Natalee Newland; parents, Richard and Donna (Jacobs) Newland; 4 siblings, Denise Phillips of Willard, Doug (Stacy) Newland of Willard, Dawn (Dan) Pauley of Willard, Diane Newland of Fremont; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Willard Church of God in Willard, Ohio on Thursday, February 11, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. A funeral service will be Friday, February 12, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the church with Pastor Greg Griffith officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Willard.
