Steve and I were sorry to hear about Dixie’s passing. I smile when I think of the crazy things we did in high school, the PJ parties at her grandmothers and the friendship we shared during different times of our lives.
I’m sure she will be missed. My heart and prayers are with you.

My niece Michele said it best–memories of Dixie alway bring a smile to my face, also. Although our memories are of different times in our lives–she as a teenager and me with memories of Dixie that go much further back to growing up together, our feelings are the same–what a special person Dixie was and I am thankful for having had her for a friend. My prayers go out to your entire family, also.

Jim, Shannon & Shelly,
I’m so saddened to hear about Dixie’s passing. We went back a very long way, back on Sandusky Street. I loved her personality, sense of humor and love of people. May she rest in peace, and may all of you find comfort in knowing her suffering is over. God Bless all of you.

Memories of Dixie always brought a smile to my face. Her laugh was infectious, and her warmth and kindness helped me through many storms as a young teenager. Although we lost touch throughout the years, I never forgot the love and support she gave me during those rough times. She will not be forgotten. My prayer go to her entire family.
