Dollie A. (Gray) Perry, age 93, resident of Shiloh, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2006 in Willard Mercy Hospital. She was born on July 24, 1913 in Shiloh, Ohio to the late Horse and Bertha (Thomas) Gray and had been a life long Shiloh resident. Dollie was a homemaker and a member of the Shiloh Methodist Church. She reigned as the 2002 Homecoming Queen of the Shiloh Ox Roast and her best friend, Bob Brown accompanied her as king.
She is survived by her best friend for over 29 years, Robert Brown, Sr. of Shiloh; several cousins, Harold ‘Mickey’ Wood of Charlotte, NC; Robert G. Wood, Sr. of Toledo, OH; Shirley Copeland of Toledo, OH; Joanne Robinson of Toledo, OH; Roberts children, Bobby Charles Black of Memphis, TN; Robert Brown Jr. of Indianapolis, IN; Gregory Duane Brown of Indianapolis, IN; Charlene Buck of Indianapolis, IN; James Brown of Indianapolis, IN; Timothy L. Brown of Shiloh, OH.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Perry in 1977; and a daughter of Robert, Gwendolyn Brown.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth on Friday, September 29, 2006 from 10:00 AM – Noon, where the funeral services will be held at Noon with Reverend Delmer Bailey officiating.
