Donald “B” Hall, age 70, of New Haven, Ohio passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at Elmwood Healthcare Center in Green Springs, Ohio. He was born on June 21, 1943 in Weeksbury, KY to Wayles Ray and Glossie (Johnson) Hall. Don was a member of the Shiloh Pentecostal Church and served in the US Army during Vietnam. He was formerly employed with MTD Industries.
Don was a kindhearted man who knew no strangers, helping anyone in need, especially children. He was quick to laugh and share stories.
He is survived by his wife Shirlene (Westbrook) Hall whom he married on April 9, 1966; 3 children, Donnita Hoffman of Mansfield, OH; Dawn (Todd) Borgerding of Monroeville, OH; Shaun (Ashlea Burks) Hall of Willard, OH; 7 grandchildren, Christina and Sabrina Hoffman, Andrew, Alexis and Gavin Borgerding, and Shaun Jr. and Madison Marie Hall; 4 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers and 5 sisters.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Wayles Ray and Glossie (Johnson) Hall, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Friends may call at Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Sunday, March 9, 2014 from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. The funeral service will be at Shiloh Penticostal Church on Monday at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Mark Wireman officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio at a later date.
