Donald L. Perdue, age 80, of Willard, Ohio, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at the OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. He was born on April 15, 1936 in Clearfield, Kentucky to the late Lionel H. Sr. and Murrell E. (Rogers) Perdue. Donald worked at various A & P grocery stores and had later retired from MTD as a security guard. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Plymouth and a member of the Shelby Masonic Lodge #350, Shelby Chapter of the Royal Arch Masons #178, was a 32 degree member of the Scottish Rite of Valley of Columbus, and the Zenobia Shrine Club.
He is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Terri Bruce (Robert Fulton) of Greenwich, and Lisa Adkins of Willard; two grandsons, Josh Carpenter of Willard, and Jesse Lee (April) Bruce of Willard; five great grandchildren, Levi, Baylie, Isabella, Lucas, and Jesse Jr.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Nona Belle (McDougal) Perdue in 2013; two brothers, Lionel Jr. and Ray Perdue; and one sister, Elsie Jane Brooks.
Friends may call at the First Presbyterian Church in Plymouth on Friday, March 31, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the church with Rev. Linda Kaufman officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth. Memorial contributions can be made to the First Presbyterian Church.
