Dorothy L. Bisignano, age 88, resident of Willard, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at the Willard Healthcare Center. She was born on June 24, 1921 in Hammond, Indiana to the late Frank and Lucille Call and was a Plymouth/Attica resident the majority of her life. She was a member of the Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church and a homemaker. Her specialty was making a homemade spaghetti sauce.
She is survived by six children; Vincent Bisignano Jr. of North Robinson, Robert (Shirley) Bisignano of Attica, Larry Bisignano of Green Springs, Joe Bisignano of Attica, Isabella Charleston of Tiffin; and Shirley (Frank) Mitchell of Attica; 13 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Vincent A. Bisignano, Sr.; a daughter, Mary Bisignano; two brothers and one sister.
Friends may call on the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Thursday, August 21, 2009 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral Mass will be at the Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church in North Auburn, Ohio on Friday, August 21, 2009 at 10:30 AM with Father Tommy Rodrigues officiating. Burial will follow at the Mother of Sorrows Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Association.
