Dorothy M. (Ludban) Ballentine, age 92, resident of Willard, Ohio, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2018 at Pristine Senior Living in Willard. She was born on March 26, 1925 in Willard, to the late Charles and Josephine (Granda) Ludban.
Dorothy is survived by her three children, Charles (Chris) Fields, Nancy (Robert) Patten, and Thomas Fields; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and two sisters, Nancy Daniel, and Grace Mahl.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Ballentine; a son, Jon Fields, one great grandson; and several brother and sisters.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Greenwood Cemetery in Willard with Steve and Eve Burkhalter officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to Stein Hospice of Sandusky. Online condolences can be left for the family at www.secorfuneralhomes.com

I am so very sorry for your recent loss. Losing a loved one can be a very difficult time for many families. I hope the resurrection promise brings you peace and comfort. Nancy, so sorry to hear of Aunt Dot's passing. She was such a great lady and her kindness extended to everyone here in Willard. Tim and I will always remember how she would smile and light up the room. We've missed her at church. I know she'll be having a reunion up in heaven with her brothers and sisters.
