Edna Dugan, age 62, resident of Willard, passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2007 at the Willard Mercy Hospital. She was born on April 30, 1945 in Floyd County, KY to the late Elbert & Hester (Bolen) Hicks and had been a resident of Willard most of her life. She was a loving mother and homemaker.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Rodney and Senecca Montgomery of Attica, Ohio; step-granddaughter, Sharece Phillips of Attica; 4 brothers, Herbert Hicks and Lloyd Hicks of Willard, Thurman Hicks of Oak Harbor and Norman Hicks of Los Angeles, CA; 3 sisters, Violet Tackett of Shiloh, Alice Hall of Willard and Doris Miller of New London.
She is preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Sill Barnett, second husband, Charles Montgomery and third husband, James Dugan; 3 brothers, Enis, Luther and Ellis Hicks; sister, Omie Wright.
Burial will be Friday at 3:00 P.M. at the Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio. Calling Hours will follow from 4-5 P.M. Friday at the Ripley Chapel Free Pentecostal Church of God on Old State Road, Greenwich, and is where there will be a memorial service Friday at 5:00 P.M., with Rev. Earl Sexton officiating. In lieu of flowers, monetary gifts may be made to Lloyd Hicks in memory of Edna.
