Elsie Myers, age 79, of Willard, Ohio passed away Saturday, October 25, 2014 at her home. She was born November 18, 1934 in Willard, Ohio to the late Charles and Josephine (Granda) Ludban and has been a life long resident. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Willard. Mrs. Myers was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by nine children, Steve (Eva) Burkhalter; Ruth (Ed) Howard; Sandy (Arlen) Warren; Nancy (Robert) Resendez; Tom (Robin) Burkhalter; Kenneth (Denice) Burkhalter; Brenda (Daren) Frankart; Anne (Tim) Dellinger; and Jennifer Bills; twenty grandchildren; twenty eight great grandchildren; three sisters, Dorothy Ballentine; Grace Mahl and Nancy Daniel.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard A. Myers on July 28, 2014; two granddaughters; a grandson; three brothers, Frank, Charles and Thomas Ludban; and three sisters, Jenny Cradlebaugh; Betty Burks; Anna Wiles; an infant sister, Caroline; and a special niece, Laura “Babe” Lafferty.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the First Assembly of God Church in Willard, Ohio where the funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM with Reverends Jon Buerger and Tony Cooper officiating. Burial will not be observed at this time. Memorial contributions can be made to First Assembly of God Church. Online condolences can be made at www.secorfuneralhomes.com
