Elsie L. Predieri, age 85, resident of Willard, passed away Friday, December 1, 2006 in Hillside Acres Nursing Home in Willard. She was born on August 27, 1921 in Mansfield, OH, to the late D. Karl and Ruth (Brinley) McGinty and has been a resident of the Willard and Plymouth area all of her life. She was a housewife and worked for many years at the Pioneer Rubber Company in Willard. She was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Willard.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-laws, Dorothy and Joe Runkle of Plymouth and Mildred and Gene Dick of Bellevue; 6 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Velma Vanderpool and Kayrol Fenner both of Plymouth.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John P. Predieri on March 13, 1997 and whom she wed on February 19, 1937; her parents; one son, Donald Karl Predieri; son-in-law, Marvin Wurm; two great grandsons, Ryan and Bryan Wurm; and four sisters, Ellen Baker, Laura Predieri, Norma Patton and Betty Rudd.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Monday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM with a rosary service at 5:00 PM. Funeral mass will be held at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church on Tuesday at 11:00 AM with Father Stanley S. Szybka officiating. Burial will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven.
