Estill Collins, age 77, resident of Greenwich, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2006 at his home. He was born on August 29, 1929 in Ada, Ohio to the late Floyd and Jonnie (Gross) Collins and had been a resident of the Greenwich area most of his life. He worked for 28 years at Mansfield Plating and at Guardian Manufacturing in Willard for 18 years. He was a member the Willard Conservation League. He enjoyed farming, fishing and coon hunting.
He is survived by his wife, Zelda (Kilgore) Collins, whom he wed on April 30, 1949; his son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Molly Collins of Greenwich; three grandchildren, Christina, Joshua and Elijah Collins; two step grandchildren, Ariel Mallory and Derrik Mallory; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Joyce Collins of Kingsport, TN; two nieces and a nephew; and numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Tuesday, September 19, 2006 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held at the Church of God in Willard on Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Mike Wilson officiating.
