Florence M. Heydinger, age 89, resident of New Washington, passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2008 at her home. She was born on September 22, 1918 to the late Frank and Rose (Oswald) Bishop and had been a resident of New Washington all of her life. She was a member of the St. Bernard Catholic Church in New Washington, and was a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She loved playing cards and gardening. Florence treasured her time spent with her family.
She is survived by her three sons, Stanley & Marcella Heydinger of Bucyrus, Michael & Nancy Heydinger of Bucyrus, and Albert Heydinger of New Washington; one daughter, Mary Ann & Raymond Bloomfield of Marion; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a brother, Linus Bishop of Mansfield.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur W. Heydinger who died on March 16, 2002; her parents, Frank and Rose (Oswald) Bishop; and six brothers, Sylvester, Clem, Alton, Joe, Carl, and Walter Bishop.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the Secor Funeral Home in New Washington. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday at 10:30 A.M. at the St. Bernard Catholic Church in New Washington. Burial will be at the St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery in New Washington.
