Florence Katherine Risner, age 86, resident of Willard, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Pristine Senior Living in Willard. She was born on October 27, 1931 in Sandusky, Ohio to the late William Irving and Katherine (Drewyor) Moross. Florence worked as a homemaker, taking care of her family. She attended Ripley Chapel and Temple of God.
Florence is survived by her 5 children, Ronnie (Debbie) Hummel of Wayne, OH, David Hummel of Tiffin, OH, Gary (Cindy) Hummel of Tiffin, OH, Joey Hummel of Tiffin, OH, Pamela Jo Whitaker of Norwalk, OH; 11 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and a sister, Sister Kathleen Mary Moross.
In addition to her parents, Florence was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Hummel; second husband, Wheeler William Risner; 2 sons, James and John Hummel; a daughter, Judith Ann Hummel; 2 brothers, Joseph and William Moross; and 2 sisters, Virginia Pollard and Alice Moross.
Visitation will be held at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 2:00 to 3:30 PM with a prayer service being recited by Sister Noel Frey at 3:30 PM.
