Frances Bentley, age 62, resident of Willard, passed away on March 23, 2004 in Willard Mercy Hospital after a lenghty illness. She was born on February 12, 1942 in Hollybush, KY to the late Birchel and Monie (Huff) Slone and had been a resident of Willard since 1982. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Ron Bentley; four daughters and three son-in-laws, Deborah and Bill Hinman of Willard, Carolyn Slone of Willard, Melissa and Hayward Harris of Willard and Mary and John Keene of Willard; five sons and three daughter-in-laws, Celand “Bubby” and Anita Hall of Willard, Gary and Sheila Hall of Willard, Rickey and Jamey Hall of Willard, Ray Caudill of Willard and Michael Marsillett of Willard; 30 grandchildren; one great grandson; three sisters and brother-in-laws, Emma and Richard Adams of Willard, Gracie and Lee Morgan of Howe, IN and Christine and Gary Collins of Ligionier, IN; and five brothers and four sister-in-laws, Estill and Edna Slone of McDermoth, Ohio, Mitchell and Ag Slone of Treadway, TN, Cecil Slone of Willard, Carlos and Ladonna Cains of Willard and Fred and Lisa Cains of Willard. She is preceded in death by her parents, Birchel and Monie (Huff) Slone; and two brothers, Clarence and Lawrence Slone.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-9 PM at the Freewill Baptist Church in Willard with a prayer service from 6-8 PM and Friday from 2-9 PM at the Freewill Baptist Church in Willard with a prayer service from 6-8 PM. The funeral service will be Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Freewill Baptist Church in Willard with Rev. Ron Parsons and Rev. Hanford Hensley officiating. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery in Willard. Memorials expressions may be made to the family.
