Frances Marie Witherspoon, age 62, of Gahanna, Ohio and formly of Willard, passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2006 in The University Hospital in Columbus. She was born on November 17, 1943 in Paducah, Kentucky to the late Robert and Geneva (Harris) Howard. Ms. Witherspoon was a 1962 graduate of St. Francis Catholic High School in Paducah, Kentucky and had been employed with Pepperidge Farms in Willard.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Raquel Witherspoon of Gahanna, OH; two daughters, Tracy Garmon of Conyers, GA; and Tina Howard Evans of San Angelo, TX; a step son, Curtis Dwight Witherspoon of South Bend, IN; four grandchildren, Joshua and Teeanna Evans, Justin Christopher Witherspoon and Erik Michael Witherspoon; life long companion, Willie Jones of Mansfield, OH; one sister, Robbie Conigan of Chicago, IL; a host of nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Monday, June 26, 2006 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM where the funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM with Reverend James Cosby officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Willard, Ohio. Memorial expressions can be made to the Feed the Children Foundation.
