Amyia E. Thompson, age 5, of Tiro, passed away Friday, June 23, 2006 in Shelby, Ohio. She was born Nov. 9, 2000 in Norwalk, Ohio. She attended preschool in Tiro and Willard. She enjoyed dressing up, skate boarding, riding her bike, swimming, dancing and was a good helper at home. She like her ‘Dippy Eggs’ in the morning, and french fries and noodles the rest of time. She also enjoyed her cats and flowers and loved being with her brothers, sisters and family.
She is survived by her mother, Stacy Thompson and Robin Moore of Tiro; father, Scott Thompson and Amanda McDonald of Willard; brother Brennin Thompson; 2 step-brothers, Darren and Kevin Moore; sister, Sydney Thompson; step-sister, Stephanie Moore; grandparents, Richard & Faith Garrett and Ronald & Pam Buckingham; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She is preceeded in death by her great grandparents.
Visitation will be Friday, June 30, 2006 from 5-9 P.M. at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, where the funeral service will be Saturday, July 1, 2006 at 1:00 P.M., with Pastors James Cencebaugh and Rick Wiseman officiating. Burial will be at the Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio. Memorials may be made to the Thompson Family Trust Fund, Farmers Citizens Bank, P.O. Box 567, Bucyrus, OH 44820.
