George A. Hamons

George A. Hamons, age 74, of Willard, Ohio passed away Sunday, November
14, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.  He was born November 24,
1946 in Willard, Ohio to the late Paul and Edna (Montgomery) Hamons. He
was a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, a devoted Cleveland Browns
Fan, enjoyed woodworking, loved playing softball with his family in many
leagues and most of all, he loved spending time with his kids, grandkids
and great grandkids.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia (White) Hamons, whom he married
August 24, 1968 and 3 sons, Scott (Angie) Hamons of Plymouth, Gregg
Hamons of New Haven and Dale Hamons of Canton; 10 grandchildren, Jacob
Leclair, Kristopher Hamons, Nichole Hamons Reed, Nathan Hamons, Grant
Hamons, Brianna Workman, Dalton Hamons, Addilynn Hamons, Caiden
Hamons and Cordell Sipe and 5 great grandkids, Carter Jamie, Harper, Lilly and Knox;
sister, Lois Moore and 4 brothers, Robert, Paul Jr., Daryl and Jeff
Hamons and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Edna Hamons, 2
brothers, Dean and Melvin Hamons and sister, Sandra Turner.

There will be no calling hours or funeral at this time but there will be
a Celebration of Life at a later date.  Memorial contributions may be
made to the Ohio Health Hospice.  Online condolences may be made to the

I was sorry to read of. George's passing. He was one of my karate instructor back in the day, such a kind hearted guy. I watched him earn his 1st degree black belt. I'm sure he is missed by many.
