Georgia Mae Ross, age 90, resident of Willard, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2006 in Willard Healthcare Center. She was born on February 10, 1916 to the late Bennie and Zettie (Oney) Lykins and had been a resident of Asheville, North Carolina moving to Willard in 1951. Mrs. Ross retired in 1973 from the Pioneer Rubber Company after 21 years of service and was a member of the Guinea Corners Church of God.
She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law; Garland and Nadine Lykins of North Fairfield, Robert and Betty Ross of Ashland, OH and Ronald and Janet Ross of Willard; eleven grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; two brothers, Russell Lykins of Willard; and Charles Lykins of Russellville, KY.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Ray Ross; two grandsons, Gary Lykins and Matt Ross; five sisters; and two brothers
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Sunday, October 22, 2006 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Velman Sexton officiating. Burial will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio.
