Germaine G. Stevens, age 90, resident of Willard, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at the Mercy Willard Hospital in Willard, Ohio. She was born on March 6, 1925 in New Washington, Ohio to the late Clement and Eleanor (Schriner) Steinmetz and had been a resident of Willard most of her life. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Plymouth, Ohio.
She is survived by her 3 sons and 3 daughters-in-law, Robert (Cindy) Stevens of Plymouth, Carl (Dianna) Stevens of Willard, and Ronald (Sue) Stevens of Willard; 2 daughters and a son-in-law, Ruth (Jim) Fetzer of Shelby and Carol Stevens of New Haven; 27 grandchildren; 45 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Irene Hershiser of Willard, Mary Gross of Shelby, Ester Postema of Shelby; 1 brother, Robert Steinmetz; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her Husband, Clarence Orvel Stevens; her parents; and a daughter, Janet Marie Stevens.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 5, 2015 from 3:00 – 7:00 P.M. at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio. The Funeral Mass will be Friday, November 6, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Willard, Ohio with Fr. Jim Sanford officiating. Burial will follow at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Willard, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Willows at Willard in Willard, Ohio.
