On the afternoon of November 1, 2015, Mandy Lyn Roberts-Shepherd took her place among the angels in Heaven at the young age of 36. Born on April 5, 1979, Mandy was a loving wife, mother, sister, daughter, and a friend to many.
Mandy was a lover not only of people, but of animals as well. Her love knew no bounds when it came to God’s creatures. We can only hope that her love lives on through those who knew her.
Mandy is preceded in death by Bert and Margie Ley (maternal grandparents) and Arnold Roberts, Sr. (paternal grandfather). She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Shepherd; children, Treb, Teller, Taven, Tanyon, Talon, Teghyn; mother, Sue (Ley) Roberts; father, Arnold (Kim) Roberts, Jr.; brothers, Chris (Beth) Roberts and Robbie (Raina) Roberts and grandmother, Ruth E. Roberts, as well as several uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at the Victory Temple Church of God in Celeryville, Ohio on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Earl Sexton officiating. Blessed is the Lord God Almighty who was and is and is to come. I am deeply sorry for the loss of your friend, wife, and mother. I can’t imagine the loss, bewilderment, and brokeness you are all experiencing. Please know that many are lifting you all up in prayer and that Jesus is mourning with you. Reach out to Him the Comforter of our souls. I am Angel, Clay, Cayle, Corah and Chesnee’s aunt. The Lord is merciful and will continue to help you through this.
