Gladys Stumbo, age 76, of Willard, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2009 at her home. She was born June 2, 1933 in Cazy, West Virginia to the late Claude and Maudie (Armstrong) Roberts. She had worked as an accountant for Aerospace Corporation in southern California. She enjoyed reading, sewing and travelling.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Nicki (Jay) Carter of Willard; sister, Marie Butler of Plymouth and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Nick Stumbo; parents, Claude and Maudie (Armstrong) Roberts; sister, Virginia Pugh and 4 brothers, Corby, Carl, Roy, and Earl “Buster” Roberts.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 18, 2009 from 5-8 P.M. at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, where the funeral service will be Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at 2:30 P.M., with David Carter officiating.
