Hargus Dials Sr., age 86, resident of Willard, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2010 at the Willard Mercy Hospital. He was born on December 26, 1923 in Wayland, Kentucky to the late Dennis and Betsy Dials. He was a World War II veteran serving in the US Army. He was a brakeman for the B&O Railroad from which he retired.
He is survived by three sons, Hargus (Gracie) Dials Jr. of Willard, Olen (Tangey) Dials of New Haven and Jimmy Triplett of Willard; numerous grand and great-grandchildren; one brother, Bobby Dials and one sister, Kathy.
He is preceded in death by his wife; parents; one son; Ewell Dials; two brothers and one sister.
Friends may call on the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 from 11AM-12PM. Funeral services will follow at 12PM with Rev. Ron Parsons officiating.
