Harry Robert King, age 65, resident of Willard, Ohio, passed away on Friday, March 23, 2007 at his home after a short illness. He was born on December 26, 1941 in Canton, Ohio to Richard and Beatrice (Malone) King and had been a Willard resident since 1970. Mr King was a conductor for the Norfolk and Southern Railway and a member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Judy (White) King, whom he wed on July 13, 1963; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Keith and Shannon King of Willard; Kevin King of Norwalk; three daughters and sons-in-law, Kathleen and Chris Rothhaar of Willard; Karla and Kyle Pifher of Perrysburg, OH; Kristie and Brian Strayer of Willard; 13 grandchildren, James, Jake, Magenta and Sienna King, Rosa King, Emily, Katlin and Grace Rothhaar, Teegan and Quinlan Pifher, Austin, Alyssa and Alex Strayer; his mother, Beatrice King of Canton; three brothers and one sister.
He is preceded in death by his father, Richard King.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Tuesday, March 27, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM, where a prayer service will be held at 8:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Wednesday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Father Stanley S. Szybka officiating.
