We were saddened to hear of Helen’s passing. She was such a sweet and caring person. She never missed one of Blaine’s Birthdays sending cards and Silver dollars with a bible verse attached. She also sent cards and notes to dad when they could no longer go up to the cottage. He always appreciated hearing from her.
They were such great neighbors on Liberty Road and on Johnson’s Island. Many great memories of both your parents. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Dave and the Alford families, Please accept my condolences on the passing of your mother. May God in His mercy grant you comfort and peace.
So sorry to hear the sad news. Helen was a wonderful lady. Kind thoughts and prayers are headed your way. May God grant the entire extended Alford family strength and peace in the difficult days ahead, and many fond memories in the years to come.
Bill and family,
My sympathy to you and your family. Prayers and thoughts to all of you.
Bill and family, My sympathies to you and your family. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
My prayers of sympathy to all of you. I always loved Mrs. Alford’s smile every time I saw her. She brought joy to my heart. God bless you at this time.
Bill and Family; Although I never met your mother I worked at the hospital after Helen retired. Your mother’s name came up often as the nurses had such fond memories of working with her. These stories were of such a professional and organized nurse. I send my sympathy in this time of great sorrow.
So sad to hear of Helen’s passing. I still remember her sitting in the choir at church and pointing to the balcony to make her boy(s)come down for communion. She was a good mother! My prayers are with her and all of you.
Dearest family. Helen was such an encouragement to me. She never missed my birthday and always sent the Upper Room to me as long as she could. I am saddened to hear of her passing, but know she is so happy to be reunited with her beloved Alan again and be with her savior and God.
Helen was such an amazing and thoughtful woman. She always sent us the nicest notes to keep in touch, and she always remembered our kids birthdays with cards and silver dollars. We honor her and only hope we can live our lives as well as she did. May she rest in peace.
Sorry to hear of Helen’s passing. I have great memories of our neighbors (Helen & Al) on Liberty road. My thoughts and Prayers go out to the Families of Helen and Al.
