Helen M. Shiley, age 65, resident of New Washington, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2007 at St. Vincents Hospital in Toledo, OH. She was born on September 17, 1941 in Seneca County, Ohio to the late Harold and Inez (Miller) Curry and had been a resident of New Washington most of her life. She was employed as a seamstress for CE White Company from 1993 – 2003. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed the outdoors, sewing and staying busy.
She is survived by three daughters, Sharon Baldosser of Tiffin, Janet Craft of Attica, Ohio and Penny Moll of Nevada, Ohio; two sons, Ralph and Gina Shiley Jr. of Fort Seneca, Ohio and Charles and Suzzane Myers of Sycamore, Ohio; 20 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; three brothers, Karl Curry of West Millgrove, Ohio, Cecil Curry of Foster, Alabama, and Melvin Curry of Bloomville, Ohio; four sisters, Dorthea Milum of Sycamore, Ohio, Dorothy Grubb of Sycamore, Ohio, Doris Zimmerman of Tiffin, Ohio and Phyllis Kiser of Helena, Ohio; and her long time companion, Doyle “Fuzzy” Coder of New Washington, Ohio.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Inez (Miller) Curry; her grandson; and her dog, Chico.
