Herbert S. Sheely, age 75, resident of Tiffin, OH, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2005 at the Twilight Gardens Home in Norwalk, OH. He was born on December 28, 1929 in Chatfield, Ohio, to the late Fredrick and Florence (Karg) Sheely and had been a former resident of Chatfield. He was retired from Mansfield Brass in New Washington. He was a member of the College Hill United Church of Christ in Chatfield and was a member of the Tiffin American Legion. He was an Army veteran in the Korean War.
He is survived by one brother, Lester Sheely of Sandusky, Ohio and ten nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Howard Sheely and his grandparents.
There will be a graveside service on Friday, January 14, 2005 at 11:00 AM at the College Hill Cemetery in Chatfield, OH with Rev. Randy Ross officiating. Secor Funeral Home in New Washington, OH assisted the family with the arrangements.
