Herman Leroy Haupricht, 65, of New Haven, Ohio, died Thursday, November 22,2007, at Golden Age Living Center in Stover, Missouri. He was bom on October 23,1942, at Cleveland, Ohio, a son of Herman M. and Leota (Bores) Haupricht. He attended Greenwich High School and was associated with East Point development on Middle Bass Island.
He was a member of the St. Francis Catholic Church and of the Knights of Columbus in Willard, Ohio. He worked as a clerk for CSX Railroad in Willard, Ohio, until his retirement in 1995. He served his country honorably in the United States Army. He enjoyed to spend time on Lake Erie and fishing on his boat.
On June 7, 1997, in New Haven, Ohio, he was united in marriage to Elena Hendrickson, who survives of the home.
Besides his wife, he is survived by: his mother, Leota Haupricht of Willard, Ohio; one brother, Allan Haupricht of Willard, Ohio; five daughters, Sharon Harbolt of Marion, Ohio, Tammy Schleenbaker and her husband Phil of Brentwood, Tennessee, S.P.C. Leota Haupricht of Fort Hood, Texas, Missy Williams and her husband John of Cole Camp, Missouri, and Kim Pearson and her husband Vance of Springfield, Missouri; two sons, Herman G. Haupricht and his wife Kelly of Polk, Ohio, and 1st Lt. Andy Haupricht of Auburn, Indiana; eighteen grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Herman M. Haupricht in 1967, and one sister, Coletta Ada Haupricht.
Friends may call the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM where a vigil service will be held at 8:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Father Stanley S. Szybka officiating.
