Ima Jean was one of my co-workers at Newman Tech. I doubt a day that goes by without someone asking Lou if she has heard from her. We all miss her very much, and are sorry for the loss.

Bro Dennis & Sis Nelvia Elkins - Nov 17, 2008

What a blessing to know Sis Jean. She never complained or asked “Why me?”. She continued to give praise and honor to God. She has only passed from a life of sickness, trouble and sorrow to an eternal life of joy and peace. Our prayers are that God will bless each member of her family to recognize her relationship with God and desire the same for yourself. We pray that God will comfort you at this time of great loss and help you to prepare to go where she has gone.
In Christian Love,
Bro Dennis & Sis Nelvia

I send to Jean’s family my heartfelt sumpathy for the loss of their loved one. Jean was a wonderful gentle woman but tough when she had to be. I have seen her swat at Bud and Scott with that gentle hand when they were teasing her. We share some grandsons and I will love them twice as much now for Jean.
