Jack E. Wilkinson, age 92, resident of Willard, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at the Willows at Willard, Ohio. He was born on February 5, 1926 in Carbon Hill, Ohio to the late Harry and Bertha (Johnson) Wilkinson and had been a resident of Willard since 1946. He graduated from Ward High School in Carbon Hill, Ohio in 1944. He entered the US Army in August , 1944 and served in E.T.O. under George Patton in the 10th Armored Division, 3rd Army during WW II. He was discharged in June, 1946. He worked at Pioneer Rubber Company and then Northern Ohio Telephone Company. He retired in 1980 from Verizon Telephone Company. He was a member of the Willard American Legion.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Eunice Ruth Wilkinson whomhe married April 26, 1969; three daughters, Robin Phipps, DiAnna Frey and Linda Barber; three step daughters, Linda Weber, Marilyn Seasly, and Jody Hinebaugh; brother, Paul Wilkinson and sister, Janet Stanfield; several grandchildren

He is preceded in death by one infant son; his parents, Harry and Bertha (Johnson) Wilkinson; brothers, Joe and Bob Wilkinson and sisters, June Bonham and Jean VanZoest..

Eunice and family, please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of Jack. I will always have the fondest memories of Jack and our many squirrel hunting trips to Southern Ohio. Jack was always there to help anyone who needed his help. He will be missed by all of those who were lucky enough to know him.
