James E. Butz, age 68, resident of Creve Coeur, Missouri and former Mansfield, Ohio resident passed away on Monday, April 24, 2006 at his home. He was born in LaCrosse, Indiana to the late Emory and Audrey (Welsh) Butz. Mr. Butz was a veteran of the US Army and was in sales with the Pavyer Printing Machine Works for 20 years.
He is survived by his wife, Nida (Stroup) Butz, whom he married, January 2, 1964; one daughter and son-law, Kim and Steve Metzger of Shelby; one son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Kim Butz of Columbia, MO; three step-grandchildren, Rachael, Matt and Sarah Beth.
A graveside service will be held in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth, Ohio at 1:00 PM on Sunday with Father Nicholas Cunningham officiating. Memorial expressions can be made to the American Cancer Society. Online condolences can be made to the family at www.secorfuneralhome.com
