Janice A. Donnersbach, age 73, resident of Plymouth, passed away on Monday, October 4, 2010 in Mansfield, Ohio. She was born on August 3, 1937 to the late Vincent and Marie (Thomas) Reber and had been a Plymouth resident since 1967. She was the owner of Jan’s Country Geese. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the LCBA of New Washington. Jan enjoyed playing cards, puzzles, baking and spending time with her family.
She is survived by four sons and daughters-in-laws, James and Connie Donnersbach of Plymouth, Joseph and Laura Donnersbach of Plymouth, John and Ruth Donnersbach of Plymouth and Anthony and Theresa Donnersbach of Tiro; one daughter-in-law, Christine Donnersbach of Shiloh; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandson, Bentley Hart and one sister, Rosemary Miller of Shelby.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph C. Donnersbach whom she wed on February 11, 1956; one son, Carl Donnersbach; one granddaughter, Elizabeth Janice Donnersbach and one sister, Anna Weaver.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth, Ohio on Thursday, October 7, 2010 from 2:00-4:00 P.M. and 6:00-8:00 P.M. Funeral mass will be held Friday, October 8, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Plymouth with Fr. Stanley S. Szybka officiating. Burial will follow at the Mount Hope Cemetery in Shiloh, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Foundation, Lupus Foundation of America or the St. Joseph Catholic Church. Know and be assured that God has chosen another angel to enter into his glorious kingdom. I’m sure by now she is playing cards yes Kenny finally has someone to play Canasta, Euchre and Hand and foot with. Not sure if I’ll be able to get over for the visiting hours, but you’ll all be in my thoughts and prayers at this very difficult time. (Katie I’ll be over to see you take care and smile at grandma and Kenny together playing cards again….)

I am so sorry to hear about Janice. I am so happy Mom and I stopped to see her the last time we were in Plymouth. I know you will miss her greatly. She was a very friendly and colorful person. I hope that it helps to know that others will miss her too.
