Jerry E. Snavely, age 75, resident of Willard, Ohio passed away on Friday, March 4, 2016 at Kindred Hospital Central Ohio in Mansfield, Ohio. He was born on November 6, 1940 in Bloomville, Ohio to the late Lawrence Yocom and Helen Whiley. Jerry was in the U.S. Army and went on to work as a security guard and owner of a restaurant.
He is survived by friends, Ashley and Jeff French and their kids.
In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his dog, Bear.

Jerry’s family and friends. I had the great pleasure of meeting Jerry a few weeks ago when I transported him from the hospital to Pristine. In that short time Jerry and I talked about his military service and his life. He was fascinating person and I enjoyed my visit with him. May you rest in peace Jerry.
I will miss him like crazy. He was a wonderful man and Dad. Love you Dad now you are at peace and with you daughter Liane.
