On August 4, 2013, Jewell L. Mann passed away from a long illness. She was born on July 7, 1933 in Hueysville, Kentucky to the late Samuel and Alice (Shepherd) Wright. She was the second child of eight sisters and brothers.
Jewell was preceded in death by her husband, John Mann, a brother, Bud Wright and granddaughter, Amber Mann of Ohio.
She is survived by her children, Judy Newport of Willard; Javis Mann of Norwalk; Janet Fyffe of Walbridge; and Joyce Newport of Willard. Jewell is also survived by five sisters and two brothers …Hansel Wright; Jean Howard; Lois Robinson; Tom Wright; Shannon Bishop; Sharon Kilgore; Suvon Manion and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Jewell was retired from the Pioneer Rubber Company and was a member of the Willard United Baptist Church. She loved being with her family and also enjoyed her hobbies …arts and crafts, painting, decorating, collectable glassware and other. She will be severely missed by all her family and friends.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Friday, August 9, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at the funeral home at 11:00 AM with Pastor Danny Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Willard, Ohio.
