Wanda S. Hershiser, age 71, of Holiday Lakes, passed away Friday, August 2, 2013 at the Stein Hospice in Sandusky, Ohio. She was born August 31, 1941 in Florence, Kentucky to the late James Marcus and Mary Belle (Curtiss) Florence. Wanda was a social member of the V.F.W. in Willard and enjoyed being with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, David A. Hershiser, whom she married March 17, 1989; son, Christopher Eric Ritchie of Norwalk and 2 daughters, Sharon (Troy) Predieri of Florida and Karen Kleman of Lima; 8 grandchildren; sister, Betty Jane (Florence) Stivers and brother, Joseph Gilkey Florence; nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Belle Florence; 4 brothers, Virgil Davis Florence, James Russell Florence, Buford Combs Florence and Ira Clayton Florence.
Calling hours will be Monday, August 12, 2013 from 1:00 to 2:30 P.M. at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio, where there will be a memorial service, Monday at 2:30 P.M., with Pastor John Baich officiating. Burial will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery in Willard, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Stein Hospice of Sandusky, Ohio.
