Jimmy Triplett, age 75, formerly of Willard, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Shelby Point Nursing Home in Shelby, Ohio. He was born on November 19, 1943 in Knott County, KY to the late Miles Slone and Ruby (Triplett) Dials. Jimmy was a member of the Tiro United Baptist Church. He worked at Mayflower in Norwalk and loved his Kentucky Wildcats basketball team.

He is survived by his 4 daughters, Sheila Triplett, Brenda Newman, Donna (Sam) Wright and Tammi Triplett, all of Willard; 14 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; a brother, Olen (Tangi) Dials of New Haven and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Ricky Triplett; 2 grandsons, Ricky Triplett Jr. and A.J. Triplett; son-in-law David Newman and two brothers, Ewell Dials and Hargus Dials Jr.

Calling hours will be on Saturday, December 22, 2018 from 3:00 - 4:00 PM at the Willard Church of God on Willard West Road where his funeral service will be at 4:00 PM with Rev. Samuel Wright officiating. Online condolences may be made to his family at www.secorfuneralhomes.com
