John Fazzini, age 81, resident of Plymouth, passed away on Monday, November 26, 2007 at his residence. He was born on May 17, 1926 in Clarksburg, West Virginia to the late Dominic and Minnie (Zippilli) Fazzini and had been a resident of Plymouth most of his lfe. Mr. Fazzini was the Plymouth-Shiloh superintendent for many years. While in the US Navy, he served on the USS New Jersey during WWII in the Pacific Theater. He was a member of the Plymouth American Legion, Ehret – Parcel Post 447 and a past member of the Plymouth Lions Club. He attended the Plymouth Presbyterian Church. Mr. Fazzini loved gardening, walks with his wife and most of all, spending time with his family. After his retirement on April 1, 1980 he was a licensed real estate salesmen for Seasons Real Estate Associates. He was also the clerk – treasurer of the Plymouth Village.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Lucille Fazzini, whom he wed on December 11, 1948; three daughters, Minnie (Jerry) Zeger of Mansfield, Ohio, Martha (Jeff) Hall of Fremont, Ohio, and Vickie Mawhorr (Roger McKinney) of Shelby, Ohio; five grandchildren, Bree Stahl of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Shannon Hall of Delaware, Ohio, Stacy Hall of Bowling Green, Ohio, and Brandon and Jared Mawhorr of Mansfield Ohio; a great granddaughter, Morgan Sexton; two brothers, Paul (Lynn) Fazzini of Plymouth, Ohio and Phil (Ann) Fazzini of Hamilton, Ohio; and five siblings of Clarksburg, West Virginia.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Dominic and Minnie (Zippilli) Fazzini.
