John A. Lasch, age 73, of Plymouth, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at Mercy Willard Hospital. He was born on September 29, 1945 in Shelby, Ohio to Joseph J. "Smokey" and Betty (May) Lasch. He worked for 46 years at The Tuby and was a social member of the Plymouth American Legion.
He is survived by his mother, Betty Lasch; four children, John Jeffrey (Bonnie) Lasch of Plymouth, Michael Lasch of Willard, Shelley Ramsey of Attica, and Steven (Caroletta) Lasch of Plymouth; eight grandchildren, Dylan, Alexis, Ashley, Madison, Bailey, Clayton, Traigh and Cruz; two siblings, Bonnie Hall of Shelby and Joel Lasch of Norwalk; ex-wife, Martha Lasch of Shelby; and nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph J. "Smokey" Lasch and grandson, Austin Lasch.
Visitation will be at Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth, Ohio from 4:00 - 7:00 PM on Friday, January 4, 2019 where his funeral service will be on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 1:00 PM with Elder Marty Carty officiating.
