Judith A. "Judy " Dorsey, age 74, resident of Attica, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo. She was born on October 14, 1943, in Lorain County, Ohio to Harold M. and Gertrude (Miller) Norris. Judy graduated from Keystone High School, and had later worked at R.R. Donnelley and retired from Walmart as a customer service representative. She enjoyed traveling, camping, watching soap operas, but most of all, enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Judy is survived by her mother, Gertrude Norris of LaGrange, OH; her husband, Everson "Roe" Dorsey, Jr., whom she married on September 26, 1975; 8 children, Ron (Andi) Carson of Attica, Bryan (Terri) Carson of Tiffin, Debora (Mike) Ford of Vidor, TX, Sheila (Shawn) Branham of Willard, Kristina Nestor of Willard, Eric Dorsey of Sandusky, Lisa Dorsey of Bucyrus, Tamara (Josh) Dorsey of Weirton, WV; 23 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; a sister, Vicki (David) Houghton of Ocala, FL; 2 brothers, John (Pam) Norris of Bradenton, FL, and David (Trisha) Norris of Xenia, OH.
She is preceded in death by her father, Harold M. Norris; a son, Michael Roe Dorsey; and a granddaughter, Katelynn Carson.
Friends may gather at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Funeral service will be on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Bart McKelvey and Pastor John Norris officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Willard.
