Julia K. Barnett, age 13, resident of Willard, Ohio passed away unexpectedly at home. She was born on January 19, 2005 in Norwalk, Ohio to Scott and Deborah (Greenick) Barnett and has been a lifelong Willard resident. Julia was a seventh grade student at Willard City School where she very active in bowling, band, volleyball, choir, track and theater. She loved swimming, going to the beach, fishing with her brother, baking and listening to country music.
She is survived by her mother, Deborah Barnett of Willard; her father, Scott (Wendy) Barnett of Willard; a sister Vivian Barnett, a brother, Cory Barnett of Wilmington, NC; maternal grandparents, Robert and Linda Greenick of Bucyrus; paternal grandparents, Mel and Carol Barnett of Willard; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her great grandparents, Cecelia Prystas; Robert and Eva (Nell) Greenick; and Mary Tompkins.
Visitation will be held at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard Ohio on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Father George Mahas officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven. Memorial contributions can be made to the St. Francis School or the Pilot Dog Organization in Columbus, Ohio. Online condolences can be made at www.secorfuneralhomes.com
