June L. Jamison, age 81, resident of Willard, Ohio passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at the Willard Mercy Hospital. She was born on June 9, 1929, in Marion, Ohio to the late William and Madelean (McClain) Predmore and had been a Willard resident for the past 60 years.
June was a 1947 graduate of Plymouth High School and was the first person hired as clock “#1” at R.R. Donnelley and Sons in Willard. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Willard and a member of the Eastern Stars having held many chairs. She enjoyed reading, playing euchre, yatzee, dominos and puzzles.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Janet L. and Randy Dawson of Willard; four grandchildren, Renee Dawson-Pilat, Roxanne Babcock, Tiffany Bechtel-Fields and Nathan Ream; six great-grandchildren, Joshua Dawson, Megan Hoyt, Makayla Babcock, Madelyn Babcock, Brittany Pilat and Rachel Pilat; one brother and sister-in-law, James and Fran Predmore of Willard and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Donald D. Jamison; an infant son, Thomas Dean Jamison; a daughter, Paula Ream; a grandson, Ryan Dawson; a sister, Kathryn Stancel; and four brothers, Arthur Franklin, Gerald, Dale and Leland Predmore.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 from 6:00-9:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00 AM with Reverend Fred Wiechers officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth, Ohio.
