Larry A. Teel, age 67, resident of Willard, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 in the Willard Mercy Hospital. He was born on November 20, 1941 to Hershel “Hody” and Mary (Witham) Teel and has lived in Willard since 1980. Mr. Teel retired after 35 years from R.R. Donnelley in Willard as a Sytems Engineer in the I.T. Department and was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl (Bellman) Teel; two daughters, Brooke (James) Rockford of Willard; and Courtney (Jeremy) Jump of Columbus; four grandchildren, Devin and Addison Rockford; and Porter and Ella Jump; the mother of his children, Juanita Hobbs of Crestline; his mother, Mary Teel of Mentone, IN; three brothers, James (Barb) Teel of Warsaw, IN; Dave (Lou) Teel of Claypool, IN; and Dick (Janie) Teel of Mentone, IN; several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, a brother, Tommy Teel; and a nephew, Scott Teel.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Friday, September 4, 2009 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM where the Rosary will be recited at 8:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Saturday at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Father Stanley S. Szybka officiating.
