Larry “Butch” Wagers, age 72, resident of Belgrade, Montana, passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Billings, Montana. He was born on June 24, 1940 in Shelby, Ohio to Ollie and Martha (Crouse) Wagers. Butch was an avid hunter and collector of cars, coins and guns. He enjoyed studying history.
Butch is survived by his mother, Martha Wagers; two best friends, Dancer Davis of Belgrade, Montana, and Roger Beverage of Ashland, Ohio; and two loving pets, Ity Bit and Booger.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ollie Wagers and the best dog he ever had, Bear.
Friends may call on Friday, December 7, 2012 at the Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth, Ohio from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Burial will be held at a later date in Rome Presbyterian Revolutionary War Cemetery in Rome, Ohio. Online condolences can be left for the family at www.secorfuneralhomes.com.

My condolences & prayers to all of Butch’s family. I grew up with Butch & he was my brother-in-law for several years so I have many memories of him and was sorry to hear of his passing.

Aunt Martha..Jim..May Ann..Kay..and Kenny , We all had fun growing up together as cousins in Rome . Especially at the old farm. Remember the goat milk fights and Butch was usually the one who started them. I will always remember Butch as a fun loving , easy going guy and will miss him a bunch. Wish we could be with you all today. Love and sympathy to the Wager family from the Seals family.

Butch, you will be so missed at the family reunions. Your fun and ornery nature was always something we looked forward to every year.
