Larry B. Rice, age 72 of Mansfield, passed away on December 1, 2012. Larry was born on March 8, 1940 in Kane, PA to the late Earl and Helen Rice (Benjamin). Originally from Smethport PA, he was a 1958 graduate of Smethport High School and was later drafted into the Army serving from 1963-1965. Larry worked in construction, as a heavy equipment operator and as a contractor.
He is survived by his wife, Roberta (Niles) Rice whom he married on November 1, 1967; his daughter Vickie Mayo and granddaughter Ella Mayo both of Jackson, TN; his sisters Judy (Bill) McKean of Smethport, PA and Phyllis Cook of Rochester, NY; sister-in-laws Dottie (Henry) Mohney of Kane, PA, Judy Gnan and brother-in-law Jim Niles of Port Allegany, PA; also survived by 6 nieces and 9 nephews
Preceeded in death by his brother Roger Rice and 2 nephews
