Lawrence Keith Snipes, age 48, resident of Willard, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at his home. He was born on June 27, 1959 in Willard, Ohio where he has lived most of his life. He was a Lab Tech for the Pioneer Rubber Co. in Willard. He was a student and scholar about the civil war. He was passionate of his writing with several of his articles published.
He is survived by his wife, Rhonda (Frey) Snipes, whom he married Feb. 2, 1991; son and daughter-in-law, Joshua Scott & Estela Snipes of Wauseon, OH; 3 grandsons, Daniel, Isaac and Christian Snipes of Wauseon, OH; father, Lawrence (Bob) Snipes of Willard; brother and sister-in-law, Robert Edward & Jeannie Snipes of Crestline and a sister, Donna Myers of Walbridge.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Clarinda Snipes.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Friday, March 14, 2008, from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, March 15, 2008, at 11:00 A.M., with Rev. Ken Gifford officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Willard.
