Leon Ford Lewis, age 71, resident of Clyde, Ohio and former Willard resident, passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at the Bellevue Hospital. He was born March 20, 1946 in Morgan County, Kentucky to the late Martin and Veneda (Gullett) Lewis. Mr. Lewis was a veteran of the US Army, having served in the Vietnam War and received a Purple Heart. He was a member of the Willard VFW Post and American Legion and had enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by a sister, Winana Sue (Richard) Rogers; a half-sister, Joann Reed; an uncle, Nolan Gullett; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Hershel and Marvin Lewis.
Graveside services will be Friday, December 1, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Centerton Cemetery with Pastor Greg Griffith officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Heart Association. Online condolences may be made to the family by visiting www.secorfuneralhomes.com

I am so sorry for the loss of Leon. I met him while he was at the hospital and was able to spend time with him and talking about his years of service. May the Lord bless and comfort his family.
