Lois L. Cashman, age 90, of Plymouth, Ohio passed away Sunday, November 20, 2011 at Stein Hospice in Sandusky, Ohio. She was born January 18, 1921 in Chanute, Kansas to the late Burr and Ada (Varner) Knaus. She was a teacher who taught kindergarden and art. Her favorite hobby was her art work.
She is survived by her son Lynn Cashman of Plymouth; 2 granddaughters, Kristin (Brian) Allen of Huron and Abagail (Larry) May of Westerville; 6 great grandchildren, Heidi Allen, Scott Allen, Delaney Allen, Colleen Allen, Noah May and Alexis May; brother, Kent Knaus of Orlando, FL.
She is preceded in death by her husband, J. Harold Cashman, who died Jan. 31, 2009; 2 sons, James Harold Cashman and George Cashman; grandson, Billy Cashman; parents, Burr and Ada (Varner) Knaus.
There will be a graveside service on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 11:30 A.M. at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth, Ohio with Pastor Rich Hurles officiating. My deepest sympathy to the family. Mrs Cashman was my pre-kindergarden teacher. We would go to class in her basement!! She taught me to read and always had books ready for me at the library! She was my grandparents neighbor and was a wonderful lady. You will be in my thoughts

To the family, I loved Mrs. Cashman! She was the sweetest lady I knew in Plymouth. She was my librarian and she always took time with me when I was at the library to help me with different things.
