Lorrie Anne Matteson, age 44, of Willard, Ohio passed away Thursday, March 27, 2014 at the Cleveland Clinic. She was born June 30, 1969 and has lived in Willard most of her life. She was employed at Century 21 and managed the Quail Creek Apartments, both in Willard.
She is survived by her fiance’, Jeff Backensto of Willard; 4 sons, Ross Matteson of Akron, Joseph Williams of Youngstown, Zachariah Backensto of Willard and Alexander Backensto of Willard; daughter, Adrianna Backensto of Willard; father and step-mother, Melvin and Joy Matteson of Plymouth.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Marlene Matteson.
There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the Greenwood Cemetery in Willard, Ohio, with Josh McElhatten officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.secorfuneralhomes.com.

Jeff and Kids, So sorry for the loss of one of the greatest, and most kindest woman I knew. I’m so glad I had the great opportunity to have the heart to hear talk with her before she went into the hospital. I love you all and will be he to help in anyway that I can. Im so sorry for this loss. Lorrie was a mother figure to me, took me in and took care of me when I didnt know anyone or anything. She watched out after myself and Eric’s son liam. She was the types of person who always put others before herself. I will miss her terribly. With a heavy heart, I will see you again one day. Love you!
