Lukes Samuel Houser, 23, of Shiloh, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at OhioHealth Shelby Hospital. He was born on October 6, 1995 in Norwalk, Ohio to Dawne Hale and Douglass Houser.
Luke grew up in Plymouth and was a 2014 graduate of Plymouth High School. He loved playing football and briefly played for Capital University. He was currently employed with the Shelby YMCA as a youth sports assistant and personal trainer, position's he was truly passionate about.
Having the biggest heart, Luke was always the first to volunteer to help out someone in need or helping his community in any way possible. Looking good was always on Luke's mind and it showed in his love for physical fitness. He also enjoyed mud volleyball, sports in general and woodworking.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Dawne Hale of Shiloh; father, Doug (Carrie) Houser of Mansfield; siblings, Kaleb, Sarah and Isabella Houser, Austin and Sara Ridenour and Andrew Stimens; maternal grandparents, Monte and Rebecca Hale; paternal grandparents, William and Mary Houser; uncle, Jayson (Christy) Hale; aunts, Patti Reinhart and Brenda (Bud) Howard; numerous cousins and other extended family members; and close friend, Austin Durbin.
Luke was preceded in death by an aunt, Jodi Fanello.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday, April 29, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the LifePoint Community Church, 260 Riggs Street, Plymouth, Ohio where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Rich Hurles will officiate the service and burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven.
